I wish I could. I simply killed CR from the onset. I really did little to no work in that area. SC on the other hand... that I had to work for.

But I do have these two bits of strategy:
1) Read the question before reading the background info. When you know what they are asking for, it's easier to find it.
2) Read the background info and question at least twice.

And this process for all verbal:
1) Write down "A - B - C - D - E" on your scratch paper.
2) Eliminate the obviously wrong answers by crossing them out (you can usually cross off 2 or 3 rather easily).
3) Among the remaining answers, look for subtle differences that test core gmat concepts. The harder the question, the subtler the difference between a right answer choice and a wrong one.
