I am trying to figure out what schools I should be targeting. My information is below:
My background information is as follows:
I am just out of undergrad (will be applying in 3-4 years), Male, Caucasian and a U.S. Citizen
Undergrad: Summa cum laude with degrees in business and liberal arts from a top 75 university (large state school).
Work Experience: 3.5 years of work experience at matriculation…3 years in brand management and .5 in sales at a Fortune 100 CPG company.
GMAT: 700 (Q43 – 68% V42 – 95% AWA – 6.0).
Career Goals: To become the VP of Marketing for a major consumer goods company (i.e. P&G, Nestle, Coca-Cola etc
Reason for MBA: I know I will eventually switch out of my current company and see how other CPG's operate. Earning an MBA will open doors to industries that I can’t currently access. I also want to experience what it is like to study at a world-class business school.
The schools I currently have in mind are:
1. Harvard
2. Wharton
3. Kellogg
4. Chicago
5. Duke
Are these schools realistic? Are there any ways to strengthen my application while I still have time?
Thanks in advance for any advice!
