Re: A certain office supply store stocks 2sizes of self-stick [#permalink]
Should it be considered for case of 3 different notepads more as below?
If size and colors are categorized as below.
S1 : b / g / y / p
S2 : B / G / Y / P
In addition to case of 3 different colors in one size, I think that mixed groups should be considered like..

Bgy / Bgp / Byp / Gby / Gbp / Gyp / Y-- / Y -- / Y-- / P-- / P-- / P--
total 12 cases

BGy / BGp / BYg / BYp / BPg / BPy / GYb / GYp / GPb / GPy / YPb / YPg
total 12 cases

So there will be 24 cases more plus what you considered with 16 cases.
But, I'm not sure too. Becuase 40 cases cannot be founded in answer options.

OA ? pelase..

Zaz can you please check the question..I remember doing this question and I think the question is supposed to say '..store packs the notepads in packages that contain either 3 notepads of same size and the same color or 3 notepads of 3 diffrent colors & same size' I think you forgot the same size bit. I am sure the combinations are much more than 16 if you can pack the different colours and different sizes into 1.
