Re: GMAT books - EZ Solutions - thoughts? [#permalink]
Its good for concepts.... perhaps too detailed...
What I don't like abt them is they teach you like a Kid....
Gosh...plz don't tell me how to ADD and SUBTRACT...and yet they charge u a lot
There is no focus on DS in all of their books except 1, the strategies guide...
I would say...if you have been out of touch of basic maths for a long time then invest in these books....
otherwise they are a complete waste of money

Also they fake Amazon reviews for their products (written by plants or employees) - I think that's just dirty play - Not Recommended.

Edit: Posted by an EZ Staff Member:

The EZ books have every match concept, from easy to medium to difficult - you have the choice to skip what you already know. If you think you know everything, then you dont need any of these books. But if you happen to be someone like me, who is not cofident with math, then you should get it. The cost should not be an issue considering the benefits. Moreover, I tried the Manhattan books, they were way too basic, I could finish each of their math books in less than an hour. I tried Kaplan, PR, they did'nt even have the concepts I was looking for. I tried Barrons, and it's a great book as it has a lot of concepts as well as strategies and exercises. I see that staff of this forum is pro-manhattan, for obvious reasons, and he/she also posted good words for manhattan on amazon, which is very questionable. I wish this was a more unbiased place. It also seems like the people on this forum are sponsered by one of the publishers, and you know who that is...... i'm not sure if the fonder of this forum is going to disable my account because of this..... : )
