Does anyone know if there is a list or somewhere I can find out which school's master of accounting program has the biggest placement rate at big 4? It occurs to me that big 4 seems to be recruiting at every campus. Just want to know the success rate. Thanks.

My guess would be that the top 25 list probably does pretty well at placing at big4. Check out the names of the programs on that list. "Better" programs...aka more respected programs...will probably have an easier time placing students at the big firms.

The best place to find good programs is through the Public Accounting Report. These rankings (unlike USNews etc) are through the industry itself. If you get into one of these top programs, Big4 should not be a problem.

Keep in mind regional biases in accounting as well...for Tampa, UF/FSU/Miami > USC/UIUC...etc

Sorry about updating an old thread but I have a relevant question.

When you say that the region matters, what schools (other than USC obviously) would be the best for the west coast? USC is the only one I see in the Group I rankings. Would it be better to have a degree from BYU than say, University of Oregon for west coast placement?
