If you're invited to interview, do you get a status change email first from the application system, or do you get an email from CBS first?

Does anyone know how to start a re-application process? I can log in to the previous application but I can't start a new one.

Does anyone know the January 2011 application dates?

To milias,

You will get an email generated from the applicaton system saying that your application status has been changed. Then you log into your account, you are able to see "Invited to interview." There was no direct email or letter from CBS. Good luck!

as an update to those still waiting to hear anything - my implied waitlist status went to an official waitlist status on friday. my wait since under review was ~14 weeks. good luck.

Seems that a lot of people just joined the waitlist and makes me think the class must be full.

Haven't heard anything from CBS, either. Application is still under review. I'm beginning to get a sense of how you guys must feel.

Sorry to hear that. It does really get more competitive as it gets closer to the deadline. If your case is any indication, I should probably hear back in a week or so. I submitted my app exactly 3 weeks ago today.

This was exactly one month for me (applied on 4/5). I dont know if its a good or bad sign that i didnt get an interview. Did they say anything other than the standard "it's not you, it's us" line in the letter? I've heard that sometimes CBS says something like they want you to apply for the J-term or even the EMBA program. I think someone posted earlier that they had a good source indicating that the class is pretty much full at this point.

Hmm, this is weird. I just logged in, and even though it still says my application is still under review, I can no longer see the recommendation submissions, and can no longer view the submitted application. Anyone else experiencing this? What does this mean?

It probably means you will be accepted or rejected within exactly 47 minutes. :roll:


I wouldn't worry about it. Doubt it means anything at all.
