MBA deferral job search

I'm currently active military and had been planning to be out of the military in time to start Fall 2010. Unfortunately, due to an administrative issue my exit has been delayed just enough to miss the start of classes. I received a 1 year deferral from a top 10 MBA program to which I had been admitted with a merit scholarship.
I'm unsure how to approach my job search when I will only be available for 11 months. Should I bring up my acceptance or is being available for less than a year going to nearly assure I am passed over? Also if I do bring up my acceptance, is it appropriate to try to use that as a selling point?(quasi internship with increased odds of getting me back post-MBA)
I know very little about HR decisions due to my military career, so any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
