I do feel this test does not require months and months of studying, if anything that dilutes the effort, if you have a busy schedule and cannot devote the time that us fine, else I feel 1 month to 1.5 months suffices. Then there is the element o luck too. I post here because this is the score I was hoping to get but fell to 37 in V. Each +1 in V gets you 10 so my 710 would be 740. Congrats.

Thank you. Frankly, one night before the test I was not very confident about giving the test with just 5 days of preparation. Even now I feel that I am weak in SC and need at least 7 days to feel comfortable with the material tested.

Congratulations for a wonderful score! :)

Cheers!

Unbelievable mate!

But how did you manage to grasp Manhattan GMAT Set of Strategy Guides 8 books + OG with about 800 questions in 5 days? + take 3 CATS and look through them? just my 2 cents.

Though 650 and 740 is quite a huge variation, the result counts!

@kissthegmat:

Thank you. I did not do all the 8 Manhattan books. I read the SC book and the CR book. OG 12 can be completed within 5 days. PS and DS does not take too long. But, still I could not complete all the DS questions in the book. I spent most of my time on verbal. RC was pretty straightforward. My accuracy in SC was 85%, CR 90% and RC 85%.

The 650 that I got the day before.... well I was interrupted 4 times during the course of the test! Someone kept ringing the doorbell! :? (I gave my GMATprep 2 from 2pm to 6pm).

Best of luck everyone!

Cheers!
