Both Pepperdine and University of Miami are pretty much regional schools: graduates tend to stay in the region when they graduate. So the first factor in your decision needs to consider whether you have a personal affinity for one region over the other (or reason to believe that one region will be experiencing a greater amount of growth).
Next, consider their recruiting strengths. If you are interested in finance/accounting, then Miami seems the stronger program (with nearly twice the percentage of graduates entering this field than Pepperdine has), but if you are interested in marketing/sales, then Pepperdine is much stronger. Pepperdine is internationally ranked by the Financial Times and has twice the number of living alumni than Miami - which translates to a larger and generally prouder network.
Keep these types of statistics and reasoning in mind as you make this difficult decision.
