derek rose is still a young buck. he has to learn to control his emotions. you saw how when he was shooting those critical free-throws how nervous and anxious he was. that's called young and inexperienced. and the next possession you saw how bosh handled it - in a professional manner. when the game comes down to the wire like this, experience is everything.
Rose is definitely still young. At that last cruicial 2 free throws, bulls desperately needed both. Kobe would've made both and you mentioned, bosh did. I think rose will also need to go back and watch what he has been doing.
During the regular season, his "juke" moves would've been sufficient because he's playing with teams that are probably not as good and well-rounded as the bulls. But once you get into the playoffs, every coach who's going to play against rose knows that he's going to do some juke moves, get into the paint and do a fingerroll or a layup. However, rose continued in that behavior deep through the playoff and just look at how many blocks he got because the centers and forwards in the paint from the other team knew what he was going to do. Sure, the moves are beautiful and swift, but the scoreboard matters more. Right now, it seems to me that he's wanting or been asked to play the two guard position, but he's doing mediocre on both end of that spectrum during the playoff. Dwayne Wade, Chris Paul, and of course, Kobe Bryant are good people that rose can learn from.
