Not really, stick with CATs. You could use the paper tests just to practice and study, but they're not an effective simulation of the real exam.

Thanks for the response. I just wanted to know that are these papers (31, 42) latest or outdated.
I got the answer from mba.com-

Latest--------------------- Retired
GMAT Paper Tests I—Includes "retired" tests 14, 31, and 55

GMAT Paper Tests II—Includes "retired" tests 25, 37, and 48

GMAT Paper Tests III—Includes "retired" tests 28, 42, and 52

MBA.com charges $30 for each. Do we have any other option?

Paper pencil test format used to be standard format on gmat many many years ago, so these tests are not latest by any means. Regarding quality of tests - : The quant sections of these tests are very easy in that a 700 level test taker today might face questions of much higher difficulty level than those found on questions of these paper pencil tests. The verbal sections of these tests are ok but have 50 % overlap with OG10.

Re: GMAT Real Exam paper [#permalink]
If I were you, I would NOT AT ALL bother myself with these test papers. I would ONLY stick to OG12 and OG Verbal for practice and learning. People say, for Quant MGMAT guides are the best. For verbal concepts, I would refer to MGMAT guides and Powerscore guides - I would study BOTH (I disagree when somebody says stick to only one of the two), as both have their own touch solving problems, what method suits one depends solely on his/her strengths and more importantly comfort; unless one studies both, how could one tell which one would fit his/her strength/comfort. Furthermore, for periodically evaluating myself, I would stick to MGMAT CATs and, in the later part of the prep, GMATPrep.

I would highly recommend NOT to get distracted with ANYTHING ELSE!
