Hello!
I have two more weeks (November 16th) before I take the GMATs. I'm in the process of deciding how to proceed the next two weeks so please let me know what you guys think will be the best way to improve my score! Here is a little background:
I have been studying the past 6 weeks using the Kaplan Premier 2011 book, the
MGMAT books (only got through quant books), and
OG (going to do all the problems before the test, of course, but still on the quant portion). My test scores so far ...
Kaplan 1: 590 (36Q,36V) - first test I took about 5 weeks ago
Kaplan 2: 530 (33Q,23V)
Kaplan 3: 750 (50Q, 50V) - took this online ... took the previous two from the cd
GMATPrep 1: 700 (48Q, 38V)
MGMAT 1: 640 (44Q, 33V) - I wouldn't really count this one since I stopped halfway on quant and finished it another day
As you can see, my quant scores have definitely gone up since the first test, but my verbal scores seem to be all over the place. This may be because I didn't finish the
MGMAT Verbal books and I have yet to get to the verbal part of the
OG. What is the best method (given the time constraint) to improve my verbal score? At the very least, I will be going through all of the verbal questions in the
OG, but what else can I do?
In addition to going through the
OG, I plan on taking the remaining 5
MGMAT CATs as well as the GMATPrep CAT #2. Is it worth resetting the GMATPrep CATs so that I can get two more tests out of it? I'm afraid that if I do reset it, I may have repeats and it might not be a representative score of how I may do on the real GMAT.
My goal is to get ~730 (45Q, 45V), so hopefully a solid study plan the remaining two weeks will push me up to that level!
