Thanks Bunuel!

Hey Bunuel, it wasn't exactly this one. Im not sure of the source, it is possible that i may have seen it in some book.

That worked perfectly for me and hence im trying to isolate that technique. If it is of any help, the questions were divided into multiple of 7-8.
It looked something like this:
Questions done Time remaining

7-8 x
14-15
21-22
28-29
35-37

If anyone else knows what im talking about- do point me in the rt direction!
Else ill have to use this one
Thanks

I was able to find it:

Time Left Math—Near Question… Verbal—Near Question…
75 minutes 1 1
60 minutes 7-8 8-10
45 minutes 14-15 16-18
30 minutes 21-22 24-26
15 minutes 28-29 32-34

mbafall2011, IMO take the Verbal timing in your post to be fairly indicative. The actual timing on your Verbal section can and will vary because of the uncertainty of the RC passages.

You are absolutely right. Especially if you get a RC passage right around question 13 etc. More of a guideline but i found it useful on a MGMAT test i took today. I also implemented the guessing every other question in the end and it worked beautifully.

Actually, at any point during the test, remember that you should have 2 mins per question remaining for the leftover Quant questions and 1.5 - 2 mins per question remaining for the leftover Verbal questions.
Say, in Quant section, if time remaining is 60 mins, 15 minutes have elapsed so you should be around Q 7-8 (or further ahead). If time remaining is 30 mins, 45 minutes have elapsed so you should be around Q 23.... or say if 30 mins are remaining, not more than 15 questions should be remaining etc...
For Verbal, if 30 mins are remaining, not more than 17-18 questions should be remaining etc
But do not focus too much on the ticking clock... It will distract you and make you waste your time. Check that you are on track every 5 or 10 questions, depending on your comfort...
