Part-Time Choices [#permalink] New post 11 Jun 2007, 07:32
Folks,

I have been admitted into Babson (Evening) and CMU Tepper (FlexTime) programs - both solid programs with inter-disciplinary learning approach that appeals to me. It is becoming a difficult decision and wanted to get your thoughts/advice on which would be a better program based on the following -

1) brand recognition, now and future - (Tepper definitely has globally reputed while Babson is regionally/nationally known)
2) mba programs (I want a general management focus and don't foresee to be a career changer - perhaps specialize in finance, strategy)
3) quality of resources - career opportunities, networking (Both schools are investing in improving this area)
4) any other important criteria to consider (which program will be beneficial in the long run, ability to change from PT to FT, etc.)?

I am technology professional working in Boston (so Babson would be a good fit logistically) but I want to do the proper due diligence in the selection process. Also, is it acceptable to ask for more time to decide before sending in my deposit?

I welcome any thoughts/advice/guidance.

Thanks.

Hi,

Does anyone have any thoughts on these two programs? I would very much like to hear about these two schools.

Thanks in advance.
