If you're focused on the tech in the Bay Area, then yes you're targeting the right range of schools - the problem with the west coast though as you've probably realized by now is that there's simply not as many b-schools to choose from. Beyond these schools, you're looking at very local schools that are out of the top 30 (Irvine, Pepperdine, Santa Clara, USF, Santa Cruz, San Jose State, etc.).
And you seem to have the right instinct as well re: geography. There's a clustering effect that goes on with b-schools and alums: majority of people going to east coast schools tend to work on the east coast post-MBA, those on the west coast stay on the west coast, those in Europe tend to stay in Europe, etc.
Having said that, the one school you should take a look at as your stretch schools are Sloan and Stanford. You have a realistic list of 4 schools already, so I think you can throw in two stretch schools as you never know.
