Age: 27 (now)
Gender: M
Nationality: Eastern Europe
Undergraduate Major: Computer Science
GMAT: 770 (Q: 50, V: 44, AWA: 4.5)
GPA: not sure how to convert, but a good average grade
Work Experience: 6 years so far. Last 2 years in telecom company in London, prior to that 4 years in my home country. Various professional certifications.
EC: quite a few involvements, but nothing extraordinary.
Career goals: want to switch from IT to finance or consulting

Could you please recommend schools that would suit my goals and are realistic to get into? I am thinking about MIT, Columbia and NYU as stretches, but have no idea what schools could be decent safety options.

Thank you.

2day,

Your Eastern European origin and high GMAT score help you, but it's not clear how much leadership you have so my recommendations are guestimates. Given your goals, your safeties could be CMU, Rochester, Vanderbilt, and Georgetown.

Hope this helps,
