- Joined this company fresh out of college.Have worked on enhancement tasks on 14 different applications that support the business.
-Volunteered to work on an initiative internal to the organization. The initiative involved creating a tool that could be used by the middle management and upper management to forecast the resource needs of their respective teams or business units. Was appreciated for it.

Post-MBA:
- Near term: Work for a tech firm but in a managerial position.
- Long term: Transition to entrepreneurship. Start perhaps a tech firm of my own...not sure it will be a tech firm ,can be something else too.
Why an MBA:
- Network building
- Moving from a technical team into a leadership/managerial position is hard. While this is not impossible, progression is generally very slow at the organization with a preference given to lateral/post-MBA hires
- Build on the subjects/topic not covered at engineering college. Primarily finance, accounting, OB & marketing.
Targeting:
Was thinking of applying to the following schools:
Austin
Indiana University
Arizona state university
Boston univ
Univ of rochester
WHU(germany)
I am not sure which school should I apply to.I am open to schools in US and europe. Please suggest schools that fit my profile and future goals best.
Thanks

Hello there!
So let's jump straight in here. I think you have quite a nice profile, with very good grades a nice GMAT, and pretty good work experience. As a female candidate with some nice extra curricular activities, that also makes you more interesting and unique. And you can bet that will be helpful as you come from an otherwise tough Indian applicant pool.
Maybe the best thing though is that your school list is pretty reasonable. I think if you applied to all the schools on your list a good application your chances would be good. There is ONE thing that makes me hesitate, and that is that you have only 24 months of experience. If I were you, I'd wait until R1 next year, a round in which you'd have MUCH better chances, and then that would take care of the "lack of experience problem"
Hope this helps!
Best,
Jon
