Hello everyone,
I will really appreciate you responses:
GPA: 3.75, average state school
GMAT: 710
Female
Age: 28
Nationality: Russian, but earned undergrad in US, currently reside in US and am a dual citizen
Work experience: CPA, 5 year at PwC, audit, management experience
EC: this is the weakest point: various involvement in college, but no leadership positions, volunteer positions with cross cultural exchange programs. Currently: Board member for Accounting and Finance professionals organizations, volunteer with World Affair organization, involvement and organization of childrens' activities
Other: various international exposure through travel, direct work experience (in Russia and Belgium), and work on multinational projects from US
Target schools (all R2)
-Wharton
-Booth
-Kellogg
-Michigan
-Carnegie Mellon
-Ohio State (just to be safe)
Another significant factor - I am a single mother of toddler, which limits my time for ECs. I am hesitant to address this in my essays, as I feel that this is too personal and does not impact my professional ability. On the other hand, this explains not significant involvement in ECs - any feedback on this would be appreciated - is this something worth mentioning in the essays?
Overall, my dream schools are Wharton and Booth. Would appreciate any feedback on my profile.
