It's going to be real tough I think. Everyone knows the male indian IT profile is a huge slice of the applicant pool that is hard to really distinguish candidates.
Not enough work experience, which can only be cured by another year or two.
Perhaps not the right work experience. You need to get into customer facing, project management roles. Strict corporate app development is not a strong profile unless you were into some kind of social gaming, networking, or sexy tech thing.
In many ways, we shared somewhat similar profiles at your age. Low GPA, high GMAT. I was an app developer for 3 years at a Fortune 100 company. I don't believe I could have cracked any of those schools with 3 years work experience despite incredible success with my projects. And I'm a domestic applicant who counts for minority reporting purposes.
Find something that really matters to you and become a champion of it. Whether that's social or tech oriented, become someone extraordinary at it. Are there any really exciting startups in India that you could jump onto? And lower the bar some, I think it's set way too high right now. Any top 20 US MBA program is going to yield great opportunities.
Also FYI, don't mention high school achievements to anyone, it's not relevant or perceived well usually. Good luck!
