A transportation token is originally a circle. When collected they are clipped as shown. If the center of this token is E, what is the perimeter of the circular shape presented here?

(1) FE = EG = 6.

(2) <FEG is 75˚.

Hi

IMO C

perimeter = (angle FEG/360)*Perimeter of circle of radius R + LENGTH OF EF + LENGTH OF EG

Here R= EF =EG

So we need to know 2 unknown things to find out the perimeter
1==>angle subtended at centre
2==>length of radius

statement 1.==> only radius given ...therefore NOT SUFFICIENT
statement 2 ==> only angle is given hence NOT SUFFICIENT .
combining two we can get the answer

Shouldn't the perimeter be = Perimeter of circle of radius R - (angle FEG/360)*Perimeter of circle of radius R + LENGTH OF EF + LENGTH OF EG ?
It leads to the same answer though...
