I agree with D.

I do not think that B is the answer because by that logic, then the LCD filters light into groups of light based on color. That is not exactly what it is doing.

What it does is much more similary to filtering it to expose the desired color like the paper cut out.

What is the OA?

D cannot be the answer because either it lets out complete light or no light. Analogous will be if it filters some components (wavelengths) of light and lets other out. B goes well with it. Since it draws a parallel between wavelengths of light and size of the components.
