Hi guys,
I have a bachelors in engineering, masters in science plus 2 yrs of work experience. I haven't taken my gmat yet but I am projecting a score of 720+. I did good in my bachelors with a GPA of 3.6 but during my masters I got sidetracked and screwed up a semester. My GPA dropped under 3 (2.8) and I went on academic probation for one semester. I got my act together and worked hard the next 2 semesters and graduated with an overall GPA of 3.37. Now, my question, concern and worry is whether this probation would affect my chances at NYU. I have participated in a lot national levels competitions, presented research papers in conferences along with a good amount of extra curricular activities. I work as an R&D professional for an upcoming mid-size company. I would greatly appreciate any input/thoughts/comments/suggestions you might have for me regarding my chances of getting into NYU.
Many Thanks,
Sakthi
