Hi there,
Profile evaluation please.
GMAT 640 92%V 43%Q
GPA: Overall 3.5, Major 3.8
Major: Marketing & Intl Business from a private jesuit school. As/Bs in bus math courses.
Age: 28
Sex: F
Work experience: Product Marketing Manager at a leading fortune 100 tech company. Good work experience showing career progression.
Extracurriculars: Very minimal due to insane working hours
Reason for MBA: I'm interested in how consumer behavior affects product strategy & design. Also, I've spent the last 5 years in a B2B role and would really like to move to the B2C side of things.
My first choice is Kellogg, but I am concerned my low GMAT score will ding my application. I have anxiety and got choked on the math portion of the GMAT. This is my second attempt at the test. I scored 570 on the first attempt and had the same anxiety issue. At this point I would just rather focus on the application.
Can somebody please evaluate the competitiveness of my application? Also, would love to hear suggestions of other (realistic) US & Intl programs with consumer behavior & product strategy focuses. Maybe ones that skew towards an older student base. =)
Thank you so much!
