Hi,
My name is Shweta Sivasankaran and I am from India. I gave the GMAT a few days ago with very little preparation and this was reflected in my poor score ( I got a 640, with 48 in Math and 29 in Verbal). I fell short of time and had to randomly mark the last few questions in the verbal section. I plan to give the test again in a month or so with better preparation as I am looking at 2013 admissions. Please have a look at my profile and tell me if I stand a chance at NUS, Singapore. Also, could you please tell me about other schools that I can look at with my profile and work experience. Much thanks

Hi, Shweta. There is a large range of GMAT scores at NUS, so your 640 may be enough. On the other hand, the average work experience among the incoming MBA class at NUS is about 5 years, so you may need to take some more time - and advance to management roles - before applying to NUS. If I saw significant leadership in your current work - even though it is only 2 years - I might be persuaded that this is your year, but your current role sounds highly technical in nature with little room for influence or management.
