A high GMAT score isn't going to compensate for lack of work experience (quality or quantity).

In other words, if your score was 740, your chances aren't going to be materially different with the profile you have.

You're likely going to be a stretch for the tier of schools you mentioned -- you may be more competitive for schools outside the top 16 at this point. As an engineer, you're competing against folks who have a few more years experience than you do - usually around 4-6 years. However, if you feel you're ready this year, by all means apply, but just make sure to have realistic expectations.
