Hi,
I am aiming to get into one of the following B-schools:
1) London Business School (Masters in Management)
2) HEC Paris (Masters in Management)
3) IE Business School (Masters in Marketing Management)
4) ESSEC (Masters in Manegement)
5) ESADE (MiM)

Profile:
GMAT: 700
Undergraduate GPA: 8.07/10 (B.E. (IT) Manipal Institute of Technology)
Senior Secondary School: 88%

Internships:
1) General Electric (Healthcare) (6 months)
2) University of Hagen, Germany (8 weeks)
3) Ricoh India Ltd. (4 weeks)
4) HCL Infosystems (3 weeks)

Projects:
8 Projects (academic+non-academic)

Major achievements:
- President of a Computer Science Organization
- Organizer of Google Developers Group 2012
- Category head of National level technical and cultural fests
- Founder of a graphic design studio and technical blog
- Winner of National level Paper Presentation
- Conducted several workshops on designing and programming
- Won 2 IEEE coding competitions.
- Winner of several Inter School debates and Indian Model United Nations Conference
- Participation in Social service camps
- Received academic proficiency award for 8 years
- Involved in sports activities in school
- Part of School Student Council

LOR's:
Will get LOR's from associate director of college and an engineering manager at GE under whom I've worked.

TOEFL:
Will appear for the test in august.

Based on the above profile, what are my chances of getting into the above mentioned schools and how should I go about it?
(Also, how are the masters management programmes at NUS and SMU, Singapore and also at the Melbourne Business School?)

Hello there!
Well your grades are great and your internships seem quite good and diverse. You have some good achievements in your list too.

Actually the one thing I think could be improved is your GMAT. As you probably know Indian candidates to MiMs and MBA score really really high on the GMAT, and the competition is tough. And if you could get even 30 points higher, it could make a big difference, esp. for LBS.

Hello there,
Well, I don't know what your criteria are, but for MiM's since you have a good profile, the deciding factor will be, more than for an MBA, your GMAT. So you want to apply to a few schools where your GMAT is similar to the average, but also 2 schools or so where your GMAT is 30/40+ points higher, to have a safe school on your list. I don't know exactly what your criteria for selecting schools are, esp since they are all in different and very different countries, this being Europe! But the GMAT rule of thumb should help,
