Hey,
Although it's great that you do give to charity, I don't usually like the way it sounds when folks try to write about donations. It can seem patronizing at worst, and often gives the feel of a candidate trying to get "brownie points" for what they donate. I think far more interesting and far more impressive is what you have DONE, and I would suggest rather concentrating on that.
