I am currently applying to USC's MBA.PM program and UCI's FEMBA program.

My stats are:

26 years old
Male
Chinese American
640 GMAT: 31 Verbal, 46 Quant, 5 Analytical writing
3.24 GPA - UC Irvine graduate
5.5 Years of work experience in real estate valuation and mortgage analysis (3+ years in private real estate consulting firm, 2+ years in mortgage analysis at a Fortune 500)
2 Strong letter's of recs

How do you feel my prospects are at USC, UCI? I'm using UCI more as a back-up option, but they have some pretty great scholarship opportunities available. I intend on staying either in Southern California, or if I do look abroad, I would like to explore opportunities in China.

I made the decision not to pursue applying to UCLA's FEMBA program because I realize my stats are slightly below their median profile, do you feel this is a good decision?

Are there any other programs you would recommend?

Thanks in advance

Not sure what you're hoping for me to say, other than to give you reassurance.

Just apply and do the best you can. There's only so many MBA programs in SoCal.
