Expert's post
Certainly from the info provided you appear to have what should be a very compelling case for admission to b-school in the top 10. What sets you apart is the demonstrated innovation and leadership, two areas which are harder for most applicants to show. Your GMAT score is impressive too and will be attractive for schools who need a boost to their average--not a small thing to offer to say the least. Make sure you bring out your personal side in the applications, since believe it or not, your high GMAT in many cases can create an inquiry into your ability to communicate and relate to others (sometimes the super smart folks like yourself get wronglyl accused of trouble in this area--I am sure it does not apply in your case). LEt us know if you would like help in strategizing your approach to the top 10 schools--we are very experienced in helping clients navigate these very competitive waters.
