If you've been a typical engineer and taken little leadership, then you will need to target programs like Boston University, University of Maryland, Rochester, and Boston College. If you've taken leadership roles at work and made an impact on the bottom line of your company by initiating exciting new projects and revenue streams, then you can look into Cornell, Tuck, NYU, Tepper, etc. Part of the process of deciding where to apply will depend on your career goals and the recruiting and alumni network that exists in each of these programs in that field.
