Is the imbalance between my Quant and Verbal too big? Considering a retake in January.

There is definitely an imbalance. It might make some schools unhappy. Whether you should re-take it depends on many things - do have the time and energy to work hard on Verbal, will you still be able to put in sufficient time for Quant so that it doesn't dip, what was the average GMAT score of the last class of your dream school, will your applications suffer in case you invest your time in GMAT again etc.
You need to weigh the benefit vs the risk.

Thank you for the input! I believe I can increase my Verbal, was doing better on the practices CATs then I did on the actual test. But my fear is my Quant might dip if I retake the test. The average gmat score of my top schools are 700-720.

What I think I'm going to do is concentrate on the essays for the next 2-3 weeks and then study again and possibly take the test again mid to end of January.
