Question on one of Darden's Essays [#permalink] New post 16 Jul 2006, 00:31
Hi Paul:

Thanks for your tips so far. Theyve been very valuable. I'm working on Darden's application and one of the questions asks to "Describe a significant maturing experience"

Now I know pulling experiences from high school is not recommended but due to the nature of this question is this acceptable. I mean most of us do mature and realize responsibility when in high school. The experience I plan to use is not really from high school but more from that period of time in my life.

Just wanted to see what you thought. Naturally I do not expect to put anything else from high school in any of the other questions.

Thanks in advance,
-MBA

MyBschoolApp,

It depends on what the experience was. If it was truly distinctive and life-altering--like some traumatic event that most people don't experience--then it would probably work. Otherwise, you should probably seek a more recent example.

Good luck,
