Thanks KingKreep! I will rest easy through all the economic turmoil knowing I'll be successful and rich  . The hardest part about the next person who posts business school application process will be deciding between all the schools and scholarships they will receive!

Next person who post in this thread will:

1) Win a lottery jackpot within next 15 tries....
2) Not receive any scholarship for bschool but that tragedy will be offset by insanely fantastic internship opportunity during the summer after their 1st year...
3) Find a quarter under their couch...
4) Shake the hands of the President of USA in next 3 years....
5) One day will get their face published on the front page of Fortune Magazine as the CEO of the year...
6) Drive to work in a Ferrari in their mid to upper 30's....
7) Receive a Golden Parachute from work before retiring at the age of 47...
8) Find a Lawyer who can draft an ironclad-like pre-nup before marriage...

All this wish will come true via the power of bschool-fairies that guided me during my bschool application journey....

Good call, today is an excellent hair day, it's at that magic ten-day post-cut mark.

The person who posts next is an incredibly brilliant strategist who will co-author a book with an M7 faculty member within the next ten years. This person is also a talented negotiator who will play a major role in bringing peace to the Middle East. This person is genuinely friendly, and never forgets the little guy. And the next poster also has serious poker skills.

Oh yeah, and if this person uses a weapon in a threatening manner against me, I will politely ask him or her to put it down within twenty seconds.

Thanks Belfi. I am not exactly sure about other skills, but definitely confident about poker skillset.

The next poster will get what he wants in life. Good Bschool admission and a great career will follow. He/she will maintain a wonderful work-life balance- most important for any human being.

Ofcourse, he/she has to help someone in need in the next 2 weeks :) This is not a clause, but just a booster.

Not sure if anybody looked at Nincorn's disclaimer. Let me reiterate it for you guys :)

Thanks Leonidas. Lets hope the first part of your prophecy comes true by the end of March. :)

The next person to post will discover a rich uncle who'd leave him/her $1B. :P
He/She will be generous enough to donate 75% of it to improve primary education and health care in poor nations. :-)

thanks mba07....and would you belive it, I do have some very rich uncles..and I have already leveraged those family connections to help a non-porfit that is building schools for the poorest children in the Indian Sub-continent..538 schools so far, educatig 65,000 of the worlds poorest children..

to the person who posts next, realize this, "you are capable! you are able! you are focused! you are ambitious! so given all that you have and more, realize this, you will have the unique opportunity to change the course of history...so make it a change for good, for the betterment of all of humanity and to bring to equality to all mankind; and so while you work your way to achieving these goals, dont loose sight of those who didnt get into HBS like you did, dont loose sight of those here on gmatclub as we all are part of a fabric of single cloth, woven in mysterious ways, interconnected in our desires to achieve big, to make this world a better living place.."

Awesome! I was hoping to get to choose... Chicago no1!!!

The next person who posts is a clever, politically savvy operator who is an inspiration to co-workers, friends and family. He/she also has a heart of gold and loves animals.

You will also be a great leader one day, not for your own deeds, which are modest by your choosing (you have a kind and loving family), but for your ability to inspire others to greatness. At least one president will thank you in their acceptance speech.

i saw "loves animals" so i figured that'd be me 8-)

the person below me is a hard-working, diligent individual, but most of all - resilient. this person is not perfect (then again, who is?), but chooses to keep moving forward when things have gone wrong in his or her life. this diligence has paid off in the end - a happy life, having earned the sincere respect of others, and ultimately making a living doing what he or she has a passion for doing.

Thanks shadowsjc,

I definitely relate with the last part of your post.

The person below me will be the most compassionate and generous person ever. I hope he will be the successor of Derrick Bolton and will grant admits to all gmat clubbers to stanford

Cheers,

Re: Random Thread: The unconditional appreciation thread [#permalink]
Hmmm, I just remembered that we had this thread.

(only because I am bored as I am waiting for my lunch to be delivered and I have random thoughts in my head)

Random Stuff I Heard Today:

1) Wharton Offers Free Continuing Education to Its Alumni
God, you lucky past/future/current Whartonians or Whartonites (or whatever you call yourselves...)

2) Diminishing Dominance of US MBA
Hmm, kinda wonder if it was a mistake that I declined LBS interview 2 years ago.... Any thoughts, BSDlover?

Anyway, to continue the tradition of this odd thread:

To the next person who posts in this thread - whichever team you are rooting for this Sunday's Super Bowl....they will win.
