How to bring up the reading score?

My current TOEFL score is R13/ L22/ S24/ W27
You can see only the Reading section is incredibly low.......

I finished Barron's(2012) and Princeton Review(2013)
and Nova's practice tests for the TOEFL iBT

Is there any good way to bring up the reading score?

That is a very low reading score, compared to all of the other sections, especially your writing score. It's curious that you scored so low... are you sure you weren't just having a bay?

If you are really a 13 in reading, you might want to work with some "non TOEFL" sources to practice your reading. Grab some graded readers, perhaps scan National Geographic and buy a vocabulary textbook.

And, of course, keep doing practice tests. There is a new "Complete Idiot's Guide to the TOEFL" which was just published and has a bunch new practice tests. And it is much cheaper than all of the other books.

Hi,

I am in similar situation as MARIE1985.
I scored R 12 and R 13 first and second time. Previously I referred NOTEFUL but it didnt help me with reading.
Please suggest me how to prepare and materials to refer. I got 10 days to prepare.

THANK YOU

Please, search for these video series on youtube

"TOEFL Reading Skills Preparation"
by Kenton County Adult English as a Second Language

I hope it helps. It is one of the best I have found on the reading section.
