Hello,
I'm planning to apply for full-time MBA. I had two questions:
1. If an applicant has an MS degree then which GPA would the admissions team review? the undergraduate or post-graduate GPA? On their website, schools usually put up undergraduate GPA so I was wondering how important is the post-graduate GPA?
I have an MS degree with a GPA of 3.7/4 but my undergraduate academics are in percentage form i.e 62%/100%(First Class as per Indian standards)
2. For an applicant at age 31 and 7 years of work experience( 5 years engineering and 2 yrs Business development), which areas of my application would be most important?
Thanks,
Suchi
Hey Suchi,
Thanks for writing dude.
So first of all, as you can imagine, if you have seven years experience, your work experience is likely to be the most important factor (although everything else matters too - GMAT, Grades, volunteer work, leadership, promotions schedule, achievements).
As for your grades, both will matter, but your UG GPA is more important and decisive.
Hope this answers your questions,
Best,
JF
