Niitsm,
Good to hear from you.
You have a VERY unique profile (I think the first Indian candidate I saw who speaks Japanese fluently... although there must be more of you). You do, as you know, have a lot of experience and are very much on the older side... buuuut not so far out as to make things impossible. (although the schools WILL question your logic... so be prepared with answers!).
My first question will be: But what about an EMBA? Somehow it too makes sense
What about your firm? Are they willing to support your education in any way?
And what about European schools? (they generally tend to have far older classes, and you might fit in better)?
Again, these are all tangential questions, because I think you CAN get into the programs you listed, but I want to make sure that you are making the right choices for the right reasons. For a program like Lauder, a higher GMAT will be very helpful, so hopefully you can pull that off. But still your main obstacle will be in explaining why it makes sense NOW after you have so much more experience, and how you will fit in, with your age and experience. Entering an MBA at 34, although possible, is the exception rather than the rule, so you want the schools to feel SURE that they are making the right choice.
Make sense?
