Returning to a Previous Employer

How do b-school admissions view work experience that includes returning to a previous employer?
For example, I worked nearly 2 years for a top I-bank and then left to take a position in corporate development for a very well-known TMT company (which is what I want to do post-MBA as well). Unfortunately I walked into a situation that quickly became very disappointing based on factors out of my control (without going into detail), so six months later I returned to the same I-bank. After a few years back in banking, I plan to attend business school, but I am concerned that this career discontinuity may be viewed negatively by admissions. I feel that the rest of my profile makes me competitive at most top schools, but this seems to be the one glaring issue. Is this a valid concern or something that I shouldn't be worried about?
