As Selene said the idiom is - depict as and not depcit to be
hence the answer is 'A'

B: to be almost always incorrect for the gmat
C: wrong verb tense
D: sounds weird to me
E: redundancy and -ing form is almost always incorrect.

hence, A is correct, simple and concise
