I have no plans for a retake. BTW, I saw no probability or combination questions and I was wondering all test long whether I did fine in maths and I guess those thoughts might have affected verbal score. But, I am glad that I am done and don't intend to deal with this monster ever!

Thank you guys!

My advice to those who, so far, have not been able to get desired scores is to keep at it and eventually you will get what you need. This test is nothing more than a video game, stealing my friend's analogy, and as you play along you see your reflexes improving and timings getting better.

If I had to redo this all over again, here is what I would do.

* Swallow the pride and get some professional help in the areas of weakness. This would have saved me some time.
* Spend more time with basic math questions such as inequalities, absolute values and number properties etc.
* SCs can be improved by learning basics and then working with OG. Spend time with all the available choices and don't leave the question before you exactly know why the given choices are right or wrong. Don't worry about the time initially but at the end you should try to improve your time, unless you are CR and RC stud, to average a minute a question. BTW, get your hands on some of the explanation by 800Bob from testmagic, they are just great!

Books/Material used in the process:
* OG 11, OG supplements both Verbal and Quantitative.
* MGMAT SC, Geometry, Inequalities, Number properties.
* Kaplan 2007
* Kaplan 800

Scores:

GMATPrep1: 620, 680, 710, 760, 760, 770
GMATPrep1: 660, 660, 700, 770, 770

MGMAT: varied from 620 (before first attempt) to 760. I ended up redoing these tests.

Kaplan: 570 to 650

GMAT Challenges (best material to improve your quantitative scores): ranged from 19 right to 30 right at the end.

[Note: The first few tries were before my first GMAT attempt (640 47Q, 31V)]

Good luck guys!

Congratulations for getting a good score. And your preparation is right on the spot and well balanced.
Good luck with your application essays. Which schools are you targeting?

Thanks subarao! I'm only interested in a part time programs and most of those programs require a tad less for part time than for full time. For now I see Chicago, Kellogg, Ross, and Emory as some of the schools I need to target!
