"However much" is an idiom..

However much political and economic analysts may agree - here however much refers to agree and not analysts.

thanks! I didn't have a clue.
In fact, I thought that the subject was:
"Many (much) political and economic analysts may agree that ...."
and that's why I chose the incorrect answer.
