What are the privacy rules for the essays submitted? [#permalink] New post   30 Aug 2015, 11:20
In my case I want to write about something that is a private matter, that I don't want to go out. How much trust can I put in adcoms? Do they disclose the essays? For how long do they keep it?

Everything is confidential. You don't have to worry about anybody disclosing anything!

Everything is certainly confidential and most schools are looking for you to be open and honest so don't feel the need to hold back for fear of anything getting out. I believe many schools even have a confidentiality disclaimer somewhere on the application.
