Let's assume that the side of the square is 2
Then P=4*2=8
Area=\(2^2\)=4

\(\frac{p^2}{16}\)=\(\frac{8^2}{16}\)=4

IMO

Perimeter of square = the sum of all the sides

length of a side of the square = p /4

Area of the square = \((p / 4)^2 = p^2 / 16\)
