What is the best thing about your bschool so far? (even if you didn't start)
1) T shirts or other goodies that they sent you? 2) Awesome employment report for latest graduating class? 3) Scholarship money? 4) Hot Chicks/Dudes in the admit community? 5) [start your own bragging here!]
For me, I just had dinner last night with my mom's business colleague who is a Yale alum (not SOM) at exclusive Yale Club @ NYC!!!
My head is getting bigger....

For me, the best thing (so far) was finally being able to stop caring about the internal politics at my firm.
Other than that...2 more years of going to Michigan games at the Big House still brings a smile to my face, and yes, the team sucked last year, but we're coming back!

At this point the best thing about Kellogg (other than them accepting me) is the alumni/current students/admitted students I've met and talked to since being accepted. They've made me look forward to spending 2 years in Evanston.
Oh, and the school isn't so stuffy that it has a university club in NYC.

Yes, I know NJMike. Yale SOM isn't quite Kellogg MBA.
That's why I am already using my Yale connection to the fullest!
I had dinner with Yale alum who's an insurance executive. I had wonderful discussions about impact of AIG and current financial crisis in the insurance industry and where the industry is going etc.
Tomorrow, my fiancee and I are having dinner with her former boss at Bain Capital who is also Yale alum.
On Saturday, I am playing racquetball with another Yale alum (another friend of my mother) who is senior VP at Goldman Sachs.
I am gonna pimp my Yale admit to the fullest! I never said I was gonna depend on Yale SOM to get a summer internship!
P.S. - I am seriously considering taking a page out of Zoinnk's book and quit my job for an internship before business school. TBD

National Signing Day is coming up, and I can't wait to see the last second recruits that Rich Rod pulls in....
last year, "a wizard selling snake oil" (quote from the Purdue coach) stole some high regarded WRs and a Safety away from Purdue the day before Signing Day...let's see if he can repeat again this year

Booth's students, alumni, and admissions representatives have truly made themselves available to answer any of my questions. Throughout the application process, I met some students and alumni who have remained incredibly responsive, despite the tremendous courseload/workload they are probably under. It honestly makes me feel like I am not just another number in the admit pool.

5. I'm psyched with how active everyone at Haas has been so far. It seems like Kryzak is a one man army on that front. Does this man sleep?
Kryzak does not sleep. He waits.

I hear ya. I too am getting anxious as NSD approaches. My guess is RR will finish with Je'ron Stokes, Quinten Washington, Denard Robinson, and Adrian Witty. Although, there's a rumor that there'll be one signing day surprise. Marcus Hall? C'mooooooooooooon snake oil!

Rumor is that Kryzak is actually a Gclub account name used by 2 different individuals - one that works the 1st shift from 8AM to 8PM, and the second person working the other shift that is from 8PM to 8AM...
The other rumor is that he is a robot......like the "Bot" in the chatroom....

LBS sent out an incredible admit pack. Very schmick package, must have cost them a fortune to put together. It even had a little Lonely Planet- London in it. However, even better than that was meeting up with other admits in Sydney. I've also been told to meet up with other LBS students currently in town, doing an exchange at AGSM.
