Bunuel, can you help me with this question? I am not sure if this is a GMAT type question.

Hey,

I'm assuming that this is a regular octagon. This can be divided into 8 congruent triangles.

So the measure of the angles around the center = 360 degrees

There can be 8 triangles around the center and the measure of the apex angle, q for each triangle will be equal.

Hence each apex angle, q = 360/8 = 45


Hence, measure of angle x = 180 - 45 = 135 degrees.

Answer is D.

Assuming it a regular octagon,

The center (360 degrees) can be divided into 8 equal parts.
Or to say into 8 congruent triangles.

360/8 = 45

x is total of 3 parts;
3x = 3x45 = 135
