For me, it's leadership. I got a very good offer with a well-known company, but my level is not what I aim after MBA. I decided to take another job with higher level, which I have impact on the company.

Though depending on your financial situation, money can be important, I usually find that great companies with good leadership pay more than others, so in my experience, good environment always always coincided with good pay.

Are you in a similar situation or it is a rather hypothetical question?

For me, it will simply be an offer. Between them I would then consider their relative strengths in the area I am interested in, or try and find out how much business they simply see during a day.

That's the unconventional side to recruiting for trading though. My friend went through a lengthy selection process on multiple offers, and ended up working in a similar way - he chose the place with the strongest desk in the field he was interested in.
