Hi Rich,

Here are the answers to your questions :

1) Are you considering retesting? -- Yes, because I dont think 670 will lead me to my Dream Colgs( Top 5-6 Universities).
2) With a Q50, you probably do not need additional Quant resources, so why are you so focused on these two Quant books? --> I am focussing more on VErbal Section this time. But as I have already exhausted the quant resources during my practice, so I am thinking to work on the Nova book for two reasons: 1. To remain in touch with Quant topics. 2. To try for a better score.
3) What is your score goal? --> 750 +
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School? -- Since 2016 seems impossible for me. So, I am targeting 2017 batch.

Thanks
Abhishek

Hello,

Could someone help me decide what is the difference between the following two Nova GMAT Math Prep books?

Book 1 : https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/1889057 ... E7Q5XCN3XZ

Book 2 : https://www.amazon.in/Novas-Gmat-Math-Co ... op?ie=UTF8

Thanks
Abhishek

Hi Abhishek,

You Quants score suggests that you might not need addition practice in the Quants section.
It would be better if you put the efforts in the verbal section if at all you are planning for a retest.

Regarding the books, there are tons of materials offered out there. But you should choose a course based on the reviews of other successful test takers.
You can find the reviews here: https://gmatclub.com/reviews/?fl=menu

Most of the preparatory companies including ours offer a free trial period. You can use the period and see if the course fits your needs.

Hi,

As I mentioned to Rich, I have already exhausted Quant Resources, So I need Nova Book becuase I want to remain in tocuh with quant during my Verbal Preparation and I am targetting to get Q51 in the next attempt.

I was confused with the two books I posted but I am not a able to get the answer to my question. :(

Not Sure who is going to help me here.

Thanks
Abhishek

Hi Abhishek,

With a score goal of 750+, you're going to have to make some significant improvements to how you handle the Verbal Section of the GMAT. As such, it's odd that you would be asking about Quant materials and not asking about which VERBAL materials you should be working with.

1) How long have you studied?
2) What materials have you used (you stated that you exhausted ALL of your Quant materials, but you did not list them out)?
3) When are you planning to retake the GMAT?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,

Have you bought the Question Pack 1 from mba.com?
It can give you additional practice for the GMAT. Do not solve questions of a book for which good reviews are not available.
Not many books give you the questions of the sort that typically appear on the GMAT.
