Yale - any news? [#permalink] New post 09 Dec 2006, 14:03
has anyone heard from Yale (R1)? I can't take it anymore. I don't know if they don't release decisions until the last day or if they wait till the last day to release rejections only? Each week of waiting makes me a bit more insecure and harder to focus on other applications.

Yale hasnt released any decisions yet. I interviewed the first week of November and I am pretty sure I will get in, so I am not really stressed about the decision. They are expected to release some decisions just before the Winter Break [December 20-23].

thanks for replying. I am not sure what to expect. My application was solid I thought but the inerview was not so great. I'll let you know if I hear anything and would love to hear from you when you get your decisions. Good luck!

It is stil not clear to me when they will start releasing decisions. I actually asked the AdCom and they said that the deadline is when we can expect to hear and would not specify if anyone will hear earlier. However, I know that last year they started releasing acceptances in mid December....

My phone just rang a couple of minutes ago. I was talking to a co-worker and ran and didnt hear it till the last minute. 1 missed call AREA CODE 203. I check my voicemail and there was a message from the assistant dean welcoming me to the class of 2009. YAY :) Good Luck to you all...

lool, I guess the only thing I could sell in Ebay are the admission letters :).

I just applied to 3 schools. I feel like I should have aimed a bit higher, since I got so easy in these three, but since I live in NY it made sense to only apply to NYU, Cornell and Yale. I wanted to apply to Colombia as well, but their application was long and I think that NYU is better than Columbia when it comes to finance. After MBA I want to get a JD in Corporate Law and Securities Litigation, so the MBA for me its a midstep towards the JD.

Bayern15,
First off, CONGRATULATIONS! Also, have you considered a JD/MBA combined degree?
