Australian Graduate School of Management

The Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) was established by the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in the 1970s in response to the Australian Government's request for the establishment of a national world-class business school.

In 2006, after a six year partnership between UNSW and the University of Sydney (under which AGSM was merged with the Sydney's Graduate School of Business), AGSM returned organisationally to UNSW.

Since September 2007, AGSM MBA and AGSM Executive Programs have been delivered by the Australian School of Business at UNSW.

  • FT 2008 ranked AGSM MBA #39 worldwide - just under Cornell and Georgetown.
  • FT 2007 ranked AGSM MBA #49 worldwide and AGSM Executive MBA #44 worldwide.
  • FT 2006 ranked AGSM MBA #75 worldwide and AGSM Executive MBA #23 worldwide.
