I wanted to understand how can I give GRE official mock

Question

as on the ets website I can only see "  POWERPREP     Test Preview Tool for the Shorter GRE"; is this the full length test or just a preview? When I clicked on it, it stated the its not a complete test but sample ques for each but when I continued the Analytical writing section started so I closed it as I was not planning to give it today. Please help me understand so I can plan to give the cold mock. I have given GMAT earlier and wanted to check GRE once.

You are completely right: the  POWERPREP Test Preview Tool  is  not  a full-length test. It is simply a short sample interface designed to let you see what the testing software looks like, try out the built-in calculator, and see a handful of sample questions.
Because the actual Shorter GRE always kicks off with the Analytical Writing section (the "Analyze an Issue" essay), the preview tool mirrors that flow and launches the essay first. Closing it out was the right move since it won’t give you the diagnostic baseline or score you need for a cold mock.
To get an accurate, full-length official baseline score, you need to use the actual  POWERPREP Online  practice tests instead.

The POWERPREP Test Preview Tool is only a sample/preview, not a full-length GRE mock.  
  For your cold mock, use POWERPREP Online, especially the timed version, because it simulates the actual GRE test experience.  
  So you were right to stop the Preview Tool you should save the full-length test for when you are ready.
