HEC Montréal : Business school

HEC Montreal was incorporated in 1907 and teaching the Licence en Sciences Commerciales commenced in 1910.

Despite the similar names, HEC Paris and HEC Montreal differed considerably from the start. Indeed, the business schools of Belgiums uch as Antwerp had more influence on HEC Montreal than the schools of France - (at that time) HEC M was a longer program, stressed business coursework to a much greater extent, and required less training in language.
